Walk, Don’t Run!

#175 There is something beautiful about a frosty morning – admittedly I feel that more keenly now that I no longer need to de-ice my car for work! Breathing in the cool air can be breath-taking though, as can hearing your feet crunch through the frosty grass. After getting a reputation for literally running everywhere last term and almost being late for everything because I was trying to fit too much in, I’m really trying to slow things down. Walking rather than running has been the start of this, but also living in the moment and taking time to see and hear the little things. It’s a discipline that is so difficult when there is much to achieve, but when it is realised, I notice so much more. Perhaps I even come across as slightly more approachable as well!
