#197 #ashwednesday “Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return.” Today marks the first day of lent, a period of fasting and confession. It is a time to draw closer to God. So often we talk about giving things up for lent, but it can also be about taking something up. I have given up alcohol, and taken up the discipline of rest in each day. How about you?
