Boundaries

#237 Are boundaries important? In this particular area it would seem so. People are quick to say where they are, and are not, from. But our #roots are also a firm part of our #identity: where we grew up; what accent we have as a result; which shops we used to go to when we were younger; and what has changed. The #senseofcommunity in that place was once something we held onto. I remember how my own church community received me with such genuine gladness when I returned from four years of living in Japan – they were so pleased to have one of their flock returned!
