Human Rights Day

#501 #day6 of #japantravels and #humanrightsday we’re brought together in the form of the #atomicbombdome in #hiroshima – the only remnant of the city that was struck in #ww2. Since then Japan has sought to promote #peace and eradicate nuclear weapons. The #humanrightsdeclaration is based on a number of assumptions, the first is that “recognition of the inherent dignity and of the equal and inalienable rights of all members of the human family is the foundation of freedom, justice and peace in the world…” Very apt to be here this evening.
