Where is the love?

#567 #valentinesday and #candlelitdinner seems to go together, with couples trying to get the perfect gift, the best restaurant, and the most romantic time together. Whilst it is lovely to exchange symbols of affection I found myself thinking about those for whom this may be a difficult day. The young woman who lost her husband of only a few months perhaps, the young man who is recently divorced, or the woman whose love is unrequited just as a few examples. There are different types of love: #phileo (sincere, platonic love); #agape (selfless kind of love); #storge (familial love); as well as #eros (romantic, passionate love)…I pray for all those who miss someone deeply today, that they may continue to be surrounded by the love and affection of those around them.
