Pectoral Cross

#302 The #pectoralcross worn by bishops serves as a reminder of how close God is to a Bishop’s heart. I #pray for #bishops, #priests, #deacons, and all #followersofchrist, that they would walk closer with God each day, hear Him, more clearly, and be comforted by His peaceful presence. Amen

Stormy Skies

#286 I love the colour #contrast of #stormyskies on #lushgreen fields and trees…I could gaze at the beautiful countryside for ever and almost get lost in it! Take time out to lose yourself in something today.

Call to prayer

#280 Whilst this might sound a bit odd to anyone who doesn’t live in a theological college, I love the #calltoprayer each day. Being encouraged to get out of bed and meet with God, whilst easier now it’s lighter, is a lovely way to begin the day. Equally being reminded to stop the tasks of the day in the evening and meet with God in prayer is fabulous, if slightly more difficult. The #discipline of prayer is something I am growing to love and gain so much from. The bells are a huge part of this – it’s like God reminding me that He wants to meet with me, and hear from me. It’s a true privilege.
